We took the train into the city and walked across the Harbour Bridge that took almost 8 years to finish and was completed in1932.  We walked up the pylon and took in views of the  cities.  The weather was perfect and we had so much fun.

The Opera House - everything we thought it would be.  More visits and pictures of this icon will follow.

We had lunch in an Italian restaurant in the Rocks.  The kids wanted ice cream before we ate our main meal and someone said we could have ice cream if there was room in their stomachs.  So we, the adults, were informed there are compartments for different foods, so Grace and Lance each drew their stomachs on the napkins and showed us their compartments.  They both had spaces designated for dessert.

After we ate, we took a walk and found a "sculpture house".  This group is standing at the front door and the guys are knocking at the door and the girls are checking out the window to see who is knocking.

We then took the train back and Grace had swimming lessons.  She got done and told us the instructor had her show the other students how to do the strokes.  Yes, we are proud grandparents.

After a dinner of tacos, they opened Christmas presents from Nana and Papa.
A great first full day of our trip "Down Under".
