LONG DAY. Had our great breakfast and then headed out of Port Fairy. We took the shorter route back directly to the Melbourne Airport. We watched for wild life, but mostly saw dairy cattle, stock cows, and sheep; we also saw lots of dry land and a few farmsteads. Marty told Dale as she was driving it got to be about as interesting as driving through Iowa cornfields - except the bush and trees were different and she was driving on the left side of the road. With Dale's good directions we found our way to the airport/car rental. Then we went to check-in for our 4:00 flight. At 3:30 we were told our flight would be delayed by 2 hours due to bad weather in Sydney. So we called Raquel and told her we would be late and sat for 2 more hours. Our plane left after 6:00 and we got to Sydney at 7:40. We picked up our bags and headed for the train - had to wait 25 minutes for it. So, Josh finally picked us up at the train station after 9:00. We hadn't had supper so Josh made us great scrambled eggs and we shared our week. Unfortunately the kids were all ready in bed. We were ready to head there ourselves.
