February 10, 2013 - No pictures - guess we got tired of taking them. Forgot to tell you about the end of yesterday. We got back to Circular Quay and said good-bye to Jim and Cynthia. It was hard - we had made so many memories and had such a good time together. They are off on a new adventure today and we can only hope they have a lovely time. After we said our good-byes and put them in a cab, we went back to the ship. We had some wine in our cabin and enjoyed that and then went and got our cossies (swimsuits) on and found a hot tub. We were the only ones there and sat in the hot tub and looked at the opera house until calling it a day.
Ok - back to today. We got off the ship and knew that the train we wanted wasn't running. So we walked about 5 blocks - which isn't bad - unless you are pulling 60 pound suitcases - ok that isn't anyones fault but ours. We got on the train, made the necessary transfer and Josh came and picked us up at their Beecroft Station. Then after lots of hugs and kisses we got back in the car and went to Flower Power for lunch - like Earl May only they have a darling cafe and wonderful food - even a playground for kids while they wait for their food. Josh and Raquel were watching their friends 2 little girls for the day so they were with us. We then headed home and made a dash for the pool - great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Then it started to rain - so inside we went. We had pizza for supper and started doing lots of laundry. A full day for people that haven't done much.
