Maintenance Monday

Dale had come back from the cruise with what he thought was a cracked tooth.  So Raquel made an appointment with her dentist for him.  First she ran the kids to school.  Here they are in their summer uniforms.  Grace is in year 4 and Lance is in kindy.  We have seen kids all over the city in their uniforms and they are all basicly the same - only real difference is color.  Their school colors are green and white.

     While Raquel was gone - she also went and worked out - we worked on trying to do all the things that need to be done when you have been gone 2 weeks.  We had a quick lunch and then Raquel dropped us off at the dentist.  She then had to pick up the kids.  The dentist declared Dale had an abcess and drained it and gave him some antibotics.  He also told him he might have to have a root canal when he gets back to Iowa.  Then we went next door and Dale got a haircut.  Then we decided to walk back to Raquel and Josh's home.  We think it was about 2 miles and we needed to walk.  Everyone got home and we started homework.  Grace made a mistake and said she needed to go get a "rubber"  - eraser.  We told Raquel she may have to work on that before sending her to school in the states.   Lance read to us and we got things under control.  Supper was wonderful chicken sandwiches and sweet potatoe fries.  Raquel and Josh had back to school night so we got to babysit with the kids.  So fun to have them to ourselves.
