Second day at sea headed for NZ

January 31, 2013
We are on our second day at sea on our way to NZ.   Know you can't believe it, but we got up when we wanted and worked out a little bit.  Next stop - breakfast - we sat with people from Bondi (Sydney).  He is also an architect who had his own firm and wife as secretary and is working now in a larger firm; so he and Dale had a lot to talk about.  Then Dale ran off to sit in on  the bridge lesson class with the Kenyons.  We had decided to meet and eat lunch in the dining room and had some wonderful salads and seafood.  We met a lovely couple from Sussex; he used to work in North Sydney.  So many interesting stories.  Jim and Cynthia went and played duplicate bridge.  Dale and Marty found a quiet spot to read.  We went to the "Welcome Back" party given by the captain before dinner.  Dinner was good, but the trio of chocolate desserts was hard to beat.  The show was an illusionist and then went and watched a take-off of "Minute to Win It".   Some dancing at the "Pig and Whistle" ended the day.
